Originally delivered Feuerwehrrot (Fire Engine Red) over Natural Leather interior.
Later resprayed Black by previous owner in California.
Restored by 300 SL specialist Mark Passarelli of Rancho Merced in Salida, Colorado upon purchase by Australian owner in 2017.
The car was dissasembled in Colorado in 2017 where it was stripped & all mechanicals (including engine & gearbox) were reassembled.
The car was shipped to Australia in 2020 for completion where it was repainted Anthracite Metallic by Status Customs in Albury, NSW, interior retrimmed by Stitched Up Custom Trim in Morriset, NSW.
Sydney Harbour Concours d'Elegance 2021 - Class Four Poster Children & Women's Choice Award winner.
