Totaled during 2016 Australian GP by Fernando Alonso
On lap 18, Fernando Alonso crashed into the back of Esteban Gutierrez' Haas at a speed of over 300 km/h. The McLaren flipped and rolled over into the gravel, hit the barrier and stopped upside down. The impact was 46G and the McLaren was totally destroyed. Alonso escaped with minor injury and Gutierrez was unharmed. Alonso was replaced by Stoffel Vandoorne at the following Bahrain Grand Prix, and returned at China.
