Information
Original car repaired and rebuilt. Driver believes he sold this to Mike Domingo but isn't sure. This tub then probably used to rebuild 300-15 at some point - probably after it caught fire at some time. The resulting car would have been a real bitza but it makes more sense to regard it as 400-16(A) than 300-15-2. Possibly the Domingos' 1974/75 M10. Subsequent history unknown.
Resurfaced when sold by Bryan Tyler to Sean Mooney (Kettering, Northamptonshire), who was racing it in HSCC events by 1990. Appeared at Coys in 1999, still owned by Mooney. To Wolfgang Bscher and then sold at the Coys Auction at Monaco in 2000 by a Belgian collector. It was then raced for him by Graham Earl raced in historics that season. In 2001, the car was repainted from blue into the red/white/gold livery used by 400-16.
The car was offered for sale by Legends Automotive Ltd (Bicester, Oxfordshire) from 2014 but did not sell and was returned to the collection. It appeared at the 2017 Techno Classica at Essen in April 2017, and at Autoworld (Brussels, Belgium) in January 2018. The car was advertised on behalf of the Belgian collector by Albion Motors (Temse, Belgium) in November 2019. Advertised on behalf of the Belgian collector by Mike van Thiel's Machines with a Mission (Lanaken, Belgium) in November 2022.
