Information
Sold to Australian racer Frank Matich, chassis 400-10 was originally fitted with a Repco-prepared Holden V8. Matich immediately crashed the car, and it was rebuilt around a spare monocoque. He scored two wins after the rebuild and then successfully campaigned the car in the 1971 Tasman series. Another major crash necessitated the use of a third tub, and the car was subsequently raced by successive owners in various configurations until 1980. It then resurfaced during the 1990s and was prepared for historic racing. Owned by the same Australian collector since 2006, it has been restored to the Rothmans colour originally used by Matich
