Specification heavily inspired by the first owner's McLaren F1 GTR 01R which he never took delivery of because of an agreement that was made between Mr Sayama and McLaren, Mr Sayama had his medical company Ueno Clinic sponsoring the GTR 01R and made and agreement that stated if Mclaren won Le Mans, Mclaren would get to keep the 01R, and if they lost, Mr Sayama would be allowed to keep the car. The 01R Won Le Mans that Year. This chassis was built for Mr Sayama as a compensation.
