This first series Maserati Vignale presents some unique styling features, ordered by its first owner, Renzo Bompani.
After ordering the Sebring at the Maserati factory in dark blue with off-white leather he changed his mind, without even having taken delivery of his car. Possibly influenced by the presentation of he 5000 GT he wanted the front changed to a similar styling. This was executed by Carrozzeria Marchesi under the supervision of Maserati. On this occasion the colour was also changed to its present specification.
