According to the present owner:
'Based on information from the previous owner this very special white Maserati Ghibli Open Cup in full 1996 version was delivered from new to the private car collection of the South Korean 'Samsung brothers' in Frankfurt (where they stored one part of their precious collection of sports cars).
At the airport in Frankfurt the Ghibli was stored for the last twenty years and was well maintained and taken care of by the Samsung car specialists. This Open Cup is still in 'as new' condition with less than 60 km on the odometer. It has never raced or been on any track. The car (ZAM336B00*00361627) was sold to its new owner with the original twenty year old Michelin racing slicks and the original set of racing tyres for wet conditions - both on immaculate Techno Magnesia wheels. The Ghibli Open Cup is not road-legal and was sold with the original 'DMSB Wagenpass' (German Racing License) which of course is outdated today. The current plan is to carefully prepare this beauty in the years to come for future gentleman racing.'
