1968 Marcos Mantis XP
Participated in only single race at at Spa-Francorchamps in May 1968, following torrential rain the cabin of the car began to fill with water, the rear-mounted alternator became sodden, and there was a serious misfire.
Unable to afford a catastrophic engine failure, Jem Marsh retired the car from the race after just 13 laps.
Originally had Brabham-Repco V8 but later it was replaced with a Buick V8.
Fully restored to its original Spa 1000 kms appearance in 2009.
