Information
On August 18th 1975 the Austrian Grand Prix was held. On a race with heavy rain, Vittorio Brambilla started on 8th position but slowly started to gain positions until he got the lead on Lap 19 after overtaking James Hunt. Brambilla pulled an impressive stint opening a 27-seconds gap to 2nd place. On Lap 29 (of 54) rain increased more. Marshalls accidentally waved checkered flag instead of red flag which concluded the race. Vittorio Brambilla took his first and only F1 victory. On celebration lap Vittorio lost the control of the car while was celebrating, crashing into the wall.
