Information
During 1974 German Grand Prix practice, Howden Ganley suffered from a suspension failure, the car hit the barrier heavily and got its front end ripped off. Ganley's legs were dangling outside of the car. His ankles were seriously injured, and this was the end of Ganley's F1 career.
Later the car was salvaged and rebuilt into a rolling chassis.
