Information
Previously set to be named T129, the CLM P1/01 is a one off prototype race car developed for the LMP1 category of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), originally designed by Lotus Racing and later operated by ByKolles Racing from 2014 onward. Built in Germany, the car was intended as a privateer alternative to major manufacturers like Audi and Toyota. It underwent several evolutions over the years, including changes in aerodynamics and engine suppliers, switching from AER to Nissan and later Gibson power units. Despite ambitious goals, the CLM P1/01 was often plagued by reliability issues and inconsistent performance. It was renamed Enzo CLM P1/01 during his last seasons. It raced from 2014 to 2020.
