Information
Lotus 19 Chassis 957 was originally sold with no engine, and was later fitted with a Chevrolet V8. The chassis went through various owners and liveries, and later in its life under Jerry Hansen (as driver) donned a modified body with an aggressive front end and stationary spoiler. It's racing career, unlike its looks, was very poor, having DNF in EVERY race it entered.
The poor race results were actually contrast by the impressive qualifying results, with only a single Qualifying DNF, while the majority of the rest were on pole position, or front row.
The whereabouts (from my research) of chassis 19-957 are unknown following its racing career in 1966.
