Information
One of three cars entered by the Lorraine-Dietrich team in the 1926 24 Hours of Le Mans is the example driven to the outright victory by Robert Bloch and André Rossignol. After clinching the victory, Bloch asked if he could buy the car. He used the car on the road through to 1931, when the Roux family acquired it. They would go on to own the 1926 Le Mans winner for over four decades. During the 1970s, a subsequent owner researched the car extensively and confirmed it was indeed the winning car. Still in French hands, it was also displayed for many years in the Musée de Sarlat.
