The first of five THL2s built to accept the newly developed Ford Cosworth V6 engine.
Crashed at 1986 Monaco GP, Patrick Tambay was sent airborne by the hit with Martin Brundle. The Lola flew 6 feet high over the track and landed on the barrier, luckily Tambay was unharmed.
