Lamborghini Huracán RWD 'Pope Francis'

Information

In 2017, Lamborghini delivered a 2018 model-year RWD Huracán to Vatican City as a gift to Pope Francis. Produced through the Lamborghini Ad Personam program, to European safety standards. It is painted in Bianco Monocersus with Giallo Tiberino stripes as an homage to the Vatican City flag. The interior is Bianco Leda Sportivo leather, with Oro Elios stitching for the Lamborghini crest embroidered into the headrest. It rides on 20-inch diamond-finished Giallo wheels, with Nero painted brake calipers.

Presented to Pope Francis in November of 2017, he chose not to drive or ride in it out of humility but rather to bless and sign it. He did this as he knew it would increase the value, and he had it auctioned with the proceeds going to 4 different charities. In 2018, it was sold by RM Sotheby’s Monaco auction for €809,375. The charities were:
70% to the city of Nineveh, Iraq
10% Amici per il Centrafrica Onlus
10% Groupe Amis de la Main
10% Pope John XXII Community Association
