Information
Countach LP400 'Periscopio'
Originally order new via De Fina Nominees of Melbourne Australia.
First owners took delivery at Sant'Agata factory in June 1977, deciding to use their newly delivered car for touring around Europe over 1977 - 1978 before importing to Australia only having clocked 16,276 upon it's first major service of 1978 in the United Kingdom.
Upon arrival into Australia, the car was converted to LP 400 S specifications by NSW Lamborghini distributor (inc. LP 400 S flared wheel arches, Bravo style wheels, a front spoiler, and a rear wing) - owners are believed to have wanted to cancel their initial order upon hearing rumours of the LP 400 S model announcement.
Restored to original LP 400 'periscopio' specification under fourth owner Mark Jansen (apart from upgraded suspension) and repainted in the original shade of Rosso.
