History

Originally left the factory as a RHD in May and it was delivered new to Australia on June 14th, 1977. The first owner was Rod Stewart, a well-known Lamborghini enthusiast, who also owned two Miuras and a Diablo. Car was exported to USA and in 1984, Rod had Al Mardikan convert it into a LP400S lookalike with the extensions moulded into the bodywork plus the targa roof, the Campagnolo wheels fitted, Tobacco Leather interior changed to Pelle Crema and converted to LHD. Around 2002, the car was imported to UK - wheels were repainted to Gold and interior has changed to Pelle Senape. The car was sold in 2013, and returned to original LP400 specification (remaining LHD). Last known location was at RM Sotheby's Paris auction in February 2021 where it sold for €775,625.
