Information
After the chassis was crashed on qualifying session of Japanese Grand Prix, the team didn't participated of any session until the race trying to rebuild the car. They rebuilt the car from 0 as the team didn't had the drawings of the car. One hour before the race the team could finish the car, but it didn't felt well for the race. Masahiro Hasemi started in P10 and gained some positions during the race, but started to lose them when the rain stopped, finishing in P11. This was the only participation of KE007 in F1. For 1977 Kojima prepared 2 chassis KE009 but didn't had pace and they were working on a ground-effect car for 1978 but the Japanese Grand Prix was cancelled.
