Information
This was the first production CC XR ('Flower Power' chassis 038 was a customer one-off).
The car was crashed in Cape Town around 2010 and was deemed a total loss by the insurance company. The car was then sold to a buyer with the intention to rebuild the car, however he thought Koenigsegg had been asking for far too much money. Due to this the car was repaired by 'Bailey Cars' in South Africa who had to build all the parts required in house as Koenigsegg would not sell parts if they were not the ones rebuilding the car.
