The Klein Vision Aircar Concept is a fully operational flying car developed in Slovakia with over 500 takeoffs and 170 flight hours completed, while also being a fully legal road operated vehicle. The production of the final model is expected to begin in 2026.
This prototype features a BMW 1.6 liter engine, and a pusher prop system. The aircraft has been tested up to 8500 MSL (Mean Sea Level) and is rated up to 10,000 MSL. It has an airspeed of 134.6 knots (155mph) and a range of 620 miles.
The Aircar has a road top speed of 124 MPH, and can transform into an operation aircraft in 34 seconds.
The expected cost of a released Aircar is $800,000 - $1,200,000 USD, and will require a Private Pilot Certification at minimum to operate.
