Information
After being absent for 4 years due to Covid-19, Chinese Grand Prix returned in 2024. Local hero Zhou Guanyu finally had his home race, becoming the first Chinese driver to achieve that. He entered Q3 of Sprint Qualifying and finished P14 in the race with several good overtakes. After the race, FIA gave him a special honour that no one else ever had. They let Zhou stopped on the grid beside the top 3, put a special board for him to let him receive the cheering of the whole local audience.
