Information

Prototype 07 served as crash test vehicle for homologation and validation of the HWA EVO’s safety systems. The vehicle underwent extensive testing to ensure the highest level of occupant protection.

This included detailed evaluations of seats and head restraints through static tests for both front and rear positions, as well as dynamic sled tests. Child restraint anchorages and protective steering systems were also thoroughly examined. Additional procedures, such as seatbelt load tests, rear seat pressure assessments, and full-body acceleration measurements, were conducted to ensure optimal safety under all conditions.

A key highlight of the testing program was a frontal impact against a rigid barrier at 50 km/h, which was used to investigate steering column displacement and validate our previously simulated results. The tests confirmed the simulations exactly, providing crucial verification of our safety models.

All safety and homologation requirements were successfully finalized, confirming its readiness for series production.
