Holden Efijy Concept
The Holden Efijy was made to pay tribute to Holden’s second model, the FJ, and was designed entirely in house at GM Holden’s Australian design studio and design department. It was painted in Soprano Purple on hand made billet aluminum body panels over a lengthened Corvette chassis. It is powered by a 6L LS2 V8 644 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque with all the power going to the rear wheels through a 4 speed automatic transmission. It features a fully custom stainless steel exhaust with billet aluminum tips. Riding on air suspension to give a smooth ride and lowers when coming to a stop. The interior features an electronics instrumentation and a multi-use display screen in the dash.
It was first shown at the Australian International Motor Show in 2005 and won the United States concept car of the year in 2007.
