Information
Built for the 1976 season, the Hill GH2 was the successor of Hill GH1 and Lola T371. Andy Smallman featured a smaller and streamlined chassis, similar to McLaren M23 and Brabham BT44. Tony Brise tested successfully the car in Silverstone in 1975. The car proved to be better than GH1 and could have been a successful season. However, on November 29th 1975, Graham Hill, Tony Brise, Andy Smallman, Ray Brimble, Terry Richards and Tony Alcock passed away tragically after a plane crash from his company Embassy Hill, which resulted in the project coming to an end and the team concluding its operations.
