The only SM Espace known to exist still
The Citroën SM Espace was a one-off 1971 concept by Heuliez that turned the SM into a futuristic open-air grand tourer, using four structural arches and removable transparent panels instead of a traditional roof. It showcased Heuliez’s design and engineering creativity, explored the idea of a safe, semi-open GT, and served mainly as a bold styling study to draw attention at the Paris Motor Show.
Originally painted Aubergine with cream leather interior, painted Blue Delta with black leather interior from 1985 to 2019, when the new owner brought it back to the original configuration.
