During FP2 of 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix, a broken manhole cover broke the tyre of Romain Grosjean's car, and caused a massive crash. Later in 2018, Sepang Circuit compensated Haas for the loss of the accident, despite Malaysian GP was already not in F1 calendar.
