Information
The Gilbern T11 was a prototype sports car developed in 1970. Designed by Trevor Fiore, it was intended to mark a new era for the company with a sleek, mid-engined layout and fibreglass bodywork. The car was built around a steel chassis and was planned to use a 1.6-litre Ford engine, giving it performance to match its striking looks. Unfortunately, the project was never completed due to financial difficulties and the eventual closure of Gilbern. Only one T11 prototype was ever produced, which still survives today as a rare piece of Welsh automotive history.
