The GR-1 is a retro-styled supercar concept based on the 1964-65 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. Developed in under a year, it is one of several cars produced by Ford in the new millennium inspired by models from the brand's past. An initial clay model was followed by this fiberglass mockup, which Ford unveiled to the public at the 2004 Pebble Beach Concours d Elegance.
