Information
This Ford RS200 is a unique post-production example assembled using original factory components after Ford officially ended the RS200 programme. Following the cancellation of the project, Michael Quaife of R.T. Quaife Engineering acquired Ford's remaining RS200 parts inventory, including unused chassis tubs, body panels, engines and numerous original components.
The car was subsequently assembled by Gordon Spooner Engineering, the same team responsible for building Ford's factory RS200 rally cars. A small number of unavailable components, including the extremely rare rear uprights, were remanufactured from original patterns to ensure the car remained as faithful as possible to the original factory specification.
Built predominantly to factory specification, this RS200 represents an exceptionally authentic example despite not being part of the original homologation production run. It is further distinguished as the only known RS200 finished in silver metallic, making it a truly one-of-a-kind example
