Information
Post-production GT40 Mk.I built from spare parts and unused LHD chassis of GT40 Mk.III.
It was part of the inventory when Ford wound up the GT40 program and sold the components, including six monocoques to P&M Racing Preparations of Chiswick, who became service agents for the cars.
A private individual bought the bare chassis, but although he assembled many of the parts needed to finish the project, the car has never been completed and when it was auctioned in 2003 it needed interior, wiring and exhausts.
Considered to be the last 'unbuilt' example known in existence.
