Information
Winner of 2005 United States Grand Prix. The Tyre Gate, which was Michelin tyres failing at the high speed corner of Indianapolis, leading to many serious accidents, caused Michelin teams to withdraw the race, including top teams like Renault, McLaren and Toyota. As a result, only 6 cars with Bridgestone tyres started the race. Michael Schumacher won the race with ease, despite F2005's performance wasn't enough to win a proper race. This was the sole victory for Ferrari in 2005, and the last for them in V10 era.
Later at Chinese Grand Prix, Schumacher crashed with Christijan Albers' Minardi on formation lap. He switched to this car, which was the spare car to start the race.
