Originally delivered Bianco with Blu nose.
Repainted Bianco in 1955 by third owner.
Repainted from Bianco to Giallo by fourth owner in 1955.
Repainted Light Blu by fifth owner in 1957.
Fitted with engine no. 0578 in 1957.
Chevrolet V8 engine installed in 1961.
Under Jim Hinson's ownership, between 1963 - 1995 the car was left outside a barn on his mother in law's farm to perish.
Offered for sale with Mike Sheehan in 1995 'basically a good frame, front suspension and fuel tank and body work, enough to copy for pattern.'
Ground up restoration begain in 1999 upon arrival into Australia with previous owner Terry Healy.
The car was subsequently sold mid restoration to well known Australian car collector Peter Harburg where the restoration was continued by Geoff Smith, 3-litre engine from a 625 GP car was installed & the body was completely replaced, with the original worn body kept with car.
Sold at RM Auctions in Paris 2014 - car was sold alongside original bodywork.
