During practice for the 2014 Bathurst 12 Hour race, De Felice piloting his 458 GT3, was hit by fellow competitor Steve Wyatt’s 458 GT3 at the top of Brock’s Skyline, pushing De Felice’s car into the gravel trap and wall of McPhillamy park, and rendering the car unrepairable in time for the race.
