First of two TRI61s built.
Driven by Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien won the 1961 Sebring 12 Hours.
Failed to finish at 24 hours of Le Mans because of a blown engine.
Sold to Count Giovanni Volpi for his Scuderia Serenissima (with the help of Carlo Chiti he made further modifications to the car).
In 1962, driven by Joakim Bonnier and Lucien Bianchi won the Sebring 12 Hours again.
Later converted for road use and driven by Count Volpi.
Acquired by fashion magnate, Ralph Lauren in 1985 and comissioned Graypaul Motors for restoration between 1985 and 1986.
Last public appearance - Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2014.
