Featured in the 1963 movie 'The Wrong Arm of the Law'
Originally Bianco, possibly returning to that soon
This 250 GTE was originally owned by the pink panther actor Peter Sellers. But what sets this 250 GTE example apart from the rest were 2 special requests for this car. Peter sellers requested that the car would not come with safety belts and for the radio aentenna to be placed on top of the roof above the windscreen. Ferrari advised that the placement could cause ignition-noise suppression problems but despite the advice, sellers took delivery of the car with both requests fulfilled by Ferrari. When the car was delivered, sellers almost immediately repainted the 250 GTE from Chinese white to red. From Peter Sellers the car was then sold to Dr. Raymond Boniface in 1972, in 1974 Dr. Raymond Boniface sold the car to Mike Bodine who owned it for 40 years (Mr.Bodine also spent 8 years restoring the car back to perfection) and finally in 2017 Robert Boniface bought back the prancing horse his father once owned.
