Information

Chassis 0176EDThe first owner, Antonio Stagnoli, died during the 1953 Carrera Panamericana when he was driving a 375 MM PF Berlinetta. Therefore, the car was sold to it's second owner. The fifth owner inherited the car from his father. The original body was scrapped in 1970 and therefore, the car was rebodied by Fantuzzi with a Barchetta Touring type body. In 1999, the Barchetta Touring replica body was replaced by a brand new body built exactly like the original Stagnoli Vignale Spyder with the very special fenders by Franco Ferrari. In 1960, the original engine of this car was used in a speed boat at Lake Garda. The car was placed as a customer attraction and head turner on the roof of a scrap yard's garage in Ospitaletto in 1964.
