Information
The only Ferrari 166MM with a slot in the front bumper (matching the slot on the body, under the grill) that allows you to use the crank to start the engine (the rest have a special hole).
Single carburetor (2-throttle Weber 36 DCF) instead of conventional triple Weber 32 DCF carburetors.
Initially - green body color. Repainted to current crimson after ending racing in the late 1950-s. Originally beige leather with green trim. It still has the original interior. The leather seats were covered in blue vinyl in the 50s when the car was racing in France.
The car has hardly been driven since 1960 (Postenn, Williman, and McCann have not used the car at all). In 2004, the odometer shows the same 7760 km as in 1960.
