Information
This car was driven by Paul Walker in the 2003 film 2 Fast 2 Furious. The drivetrain features a high-performance 350cid engine and an automatic transmission with a 4-speed console and a handle designed to resemble a manual stick shift. The vehicle originated in California and retains all original sheet metal. It was built by Ted Mosey of Picture Car Warehouse and is also featured in Eddie Paul’s book The Cars of The Fast and the Furious.
The car was purchased by the Volo Auto Museum in 2006 and later sold to the current owner in 2010. All original camera wiring harnesses remain intact in their factory locations. The brackets used for the movie’s jump scene are still present and do not interfere with the vehicle’s performance.
According to the book The Cars of The Fast and the Furious, The Yenko was added for the sake of the older auto enthusiast. This car is from the days where men and cars were metal. Year One, Inc. sponsored the muscle car and supplied all parts for the restoration.
