Information
One-off concept car designed by Virgil Exner from Chrysler's design department and coachbuilt by Carrozzeria Ghia in Turin. This is a derivation of Giovanni Savonuzzi's Supersonic series (Fiat 8V, Jaguar XK120, Alfa Romeo 1900, Aston Martin DB2/4 Mark II) featuring bore of the same jet age-inspired design at the rear with the circular taillights encased in chromed engine reactor-like cones and the small tail fins at each side of the body plus an innovative retractable rear window.
It is powered by a Red Ram HEMI V8 mated to a PowerFlite 2-speed automatic transmission and was built on a Chrysler S-19 chassis. King Mohammed V of Morocco once owned it and there was a DeSoto Adventurer I but, reportedly, it was sold in South America and vanished.
