Information
D8-120 S Saoutchik Cabriolet.
Supposed to be displayed at the 1939 Paris Motorshow (canceled), it was hidden in the Saoutchik atelier during WWII. After the war, it was delivered to the Élysée palace where it was sometimes used by the Général De Gaulle who asked to modify the height of more than 20cm. During its life it also received a red paint and white interior.
Using pantograph linkages, the parallel opening doorsystem was developed by Saoutchik and fitted to only a handful of cars.
