Hugh McCaig purchased the De Cadenet LM3 on October 25th 1983. With the purpose of the rebirth of Ecurie Eccose Team, the LM was completly rebuilt into Ecosse C284 for Group C2. McCaig family decided to restore the car into its original De Cadenet LM specification.
