Information
The only Prototype built by Cisitalia on an in-house-designed X-frame chassis with Ghia bodywork (2 more were built on Ford Chassis, both with Vignale bodywork) before being shipped in 1952 to the US for evaluation by Ford personnel as part of a planned collaboration between the two companies on the production of a Ford-powered sports car. Ford decided that production would exceed expense limitations, so the project never came to fruition.
Refurbished from 1977-2024 after being purchased from the current owners aunt in a disassembled state.
Received a Hagerty Founders Award and a Specialty Award for its class at 2024 Greenwhich Concours d'Elegance
