Winner of GTLM category at 2016 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, Northeast Grand Prix and Road Race Showcase, as well as the 2016 IMSA Sportscar Championship GTLM title.
Caught fire during 2017 Daytona test, it was sent back to the factory for reparation and missed the race. In the following seasons, this chassis was mainly used as a spare chassis and showcar.
It raced in 2018 6 Hours of Shanghai as a single entry in a special silver livery to promote Chevrolet's Redline Edition road cars.
After the main chassis C7RGT-006 was crashed at 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans, this car was race again at the following race, 6 Hours of Watkins Glen. However it was took out on lap one, and the driver Tommy Milner was injured in the accident.
