Information
Designed by Ettore Bugatti in 1931, the Type 56 ‘En Cas’ is an electric vehicle designed for private travel within the Molsheim estate. Presented at the Grand Salon de Paris in 1931 alongside the Bugatti Royale, it belongs to a series of ten models produced until 1938.
Chassis no. 56105, delivered in 1934, was noticed at the Corso Fleuri before being rediscovered in 1959 and added to the National Automobile Museum in Mulhouse. Only four examples have survived.
Classified as a 'Monument Historique' since the 14th of April 1978.
