Fabrizio Giugiaro's first project, he get to design the Nazca M12 because his father Giorgetto simply had no time for it. BMW was the one who requested Italdesign to build this car because their deal with Lamborghini for a supercar fell apart so they looked for someone else to do it.
It's powered by a pre-production M70B50 V12 engine built by a BMW engineer in secret at his home and the car was unveiled at the 1991 Geneva Motor Show. Fabrizio owns this chassis to this day.
