Information
Started as as April Fools' Joke in 2025 by BMW Motorsport of an M3 Touring modified for GT3 racing, they actually finished the car on March 16th 2026 with intentions to compete in that year's 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The car is based on an M3 Touring chassis with identical specifications of the M4 GT3 Evo.
However, without being homologated as a real GT3 car, Schubert Motorsport fielded the car in the SP-X Pro category and lead the race at some point although finishing 4th overall (after all penalties applied to other competitors) and first in class. It won SP-X Pro category and proved to be capable of becoming the fastest among all BMW cars.
