Information
The M3 GT was campaigned by the Schnitzer-run BMW Motorsport team. First seen at the Official Test at Paul Ricard, it competed in the Le Mans Series, the Spa 24 Hours and also two of the three Intercontinental Le Mans Cup rounds. After not a particularly successful season, chassis 1001 finally came through at Zhuhai, where Jörg Müller and Dirk Werner finished 7th overall and won the GT2 class. This was also the final outing as the team switched to newer cars for the 2011 season.
