Information
Wendler Coupé
This was the first BMW 328 to be graced with an aerodynamic body, and the coachwork was fashioned long before subsequent BMW Mille Miglia speedsters. A well-documented top speed of 189 km/h (117 mph) represented a 30 km/h (18 mph) increase compared to the standard roadster, and it boasted a drag coefficient of 0.38. This car proved that aerodynamics plays an important role in speed.
