Information
In the 1980s, the CSL had the following reconstruction work fitted by the second owner:
- Replacement of the original engine with an original BMW 3-liter exchange engine
- Recoating to 'Alpine White', colour code 300
- Coating of the circulating chrome parts including the BMW kidney and the fender extensions in black (matching the standing fins on the front fenders)
- Retrofit CSL Front spoiler of the third version
- Retrofit of the optional BMW Comfort Extras power rear windows
