The Alpina factory built less than 15 of these extremely rare BMWs and only nine are known to exist today. This particular car was first owned by a prince in Liechtenstein who ordered the car built with all the Alpina options available in 1973 - 3.0 liter B2S engine equipped with three 45 DCOE Weber carbs and the unique cast alloy Alpina cold air box and headers. The engine is equipped with 10.5:1 compression pistons, lightened crankshaft, ported and polished heads with larger valves, stiffer valve springs and more radical cams. The Alpina specification ZF 5 speed close ratio transmission, adjustable sway bars, large brakes are all in perfect condition. The original Alpina steering wheel, VDO three gauge pack, map light, and racing seats complete the interior. The Alpine body modifications include a front air dam, side graphics, Plexiglas side windows, chrome fender extensions, competition belt driven differential cooler, and Rare 15 Alpina Magnesium Competition Wheels.
